"Apple CarPlay would intermittently connect. Text msgs or phone calls interrupt the running app on the display and requires touching the phone to deselect/launch the app to display again." Lots of lag and dropped connections with iPhone 6 when apps work fine on the phone. "Terrible integration by requiring Honda Link app which is buggy. Still not fixed after 5months as an open case w honda" I needed to call 911 to report a dangerous driver and the unit switched from CarPlay to BT to nothing twice. Not working as handsfree is not an inconvenience. now Honda is pointing fingers at Apple and Panasonic (OEM supplier of headunit). Honda has replaced our headunit once, still had issues. There is some problem between Apple and Honda on teh operation of handsfree devices. "as many know, hands-free is the law in many states, including Georgia, where I live. Often the phone is not detected and I can fix it but replugging it in. Under the same conditions an android phone may or may not connect to the car's android auto system when plugged in. "Simply unpredictable whether it will work. This problem is now resolved by the system as a whole becoming unusable." Previously, the manner of navigating the system changed unexpectedly, with no explanation, and I was left to re-learn the system by trial and error several times. At this point, the system is a dead relic, and I must mount my phone to the dashboard to use Google navigation. I get a message on my phone asking me to disconnect/reconnect the phone.
